Mission Statement:

The Graduate Film Student Organization (GFSO) is a recognized student organization at Columbia College Chicago with the following mission:

The mission of the GFSO is to serve and advocate for the interests of the graduate film and video students of Columbia College Chicago within the Film & Video Department as well as the larger community of Columbia College Chicago. The graduate student body is a small minority within the film and video department and our goal is to ensure that graduate students have a voice within the department as well as the college.

Above all else, this organization intends to create community within the body of graduate film students, initiate dialogue, and create a sense of legacy for the students and alumni of the graduate Film & Video program of Columbia College.
