Donate Your Used Books and Promote Literacy, December 7-16

The Columbia College Bookstore and Columbia Sustainability Program will be partnering with Better World Books (BWB) for a book donation drive during Book Buy Back December 7-16.

Drop off books that hold no buyback or rental value into designated boxes in the Bookstore and the 624 S. Michigan Avenue building lobby. Acceptable items include unwanted textbooks or books used in your courses.

Our partnering with BWB makes sure that no textbook goes to waste. During Spring Buy Back, we donated 360 pounds of books.

This initiative aims to promote literacy by providing resources to those in need. Books sent to BWB will benefit the Thirst Project, National Center for Family Literacy, Books for Africa, and WorldFund.
