Columbia's Open Doors Gala 2012 to Raise Scholarship Funds

Columbia College Chicago's Open Doors Gala 2012 will be held December 7 at the Media Production Center. Contributions made at the gala will go toward Open Doors Scholarships for Chicago Public Schools graduates to attend Columbia, preserving the iconic EBONY-JET sign on the Johnson Publishing Building, and establishing the John H. Johnson Museum.

This event will honor John H. Bryan, retired chairman and chief executive officer of Sara Lee Corporation, with the Chicago Legacy Award, which is bestowed upon those who have made a significant impact in the Chicago community and helped open doors for future generations.

Tickets to the gala are $1,000 per person, and tables begin at $10,000.
