Encourage Students to "Rock the Vote" October 12

As the 2012 presidential election draws near, encourage your students to join WCRX Radio, the Student Programming Board, and the Student Government Association as they host MTV’s “Rock the Vote” road trip bus tour 12 to 4 p.m., Friday, October 12, at the 635 South Wabash parking lot. 

Students in attendance can pledge to vote on November 6, and the afternoon will include music, games, and free WCRX giveaways. WCRX personalities Pat Fawell, Brendon Lewis, Stephen Baker, and Bob McCarthy will provide live updates alongside the Rock the Vote bus, and WCRX’s political reporter,Tom Moran, will also be on hand to cover the event and get reaction from Columbia students.  

This event is the only Rock the Vote road trip stop in Chicago prior to the election.
