Peer Academic Coaching at Columbia - Supporting Student Academic Success
March 1, 2013
Peer Academic Coaches (PACs) are trained to work with students to develop strategies for studying, to improve their time management, and to plan for academic success.
PACs help coordinate referrals to other resources inside the Learning Studio—including tutoring and supplemental instruction—and to other partner departments throughout Columbia College Chicago. Faculty members and college advisors often refer students to coaching after he or she met with a student to discuss the student’s academic success plan.
