Columbia Faculty Strengthen Partnerships in China
May 24, 2012
Rob Lagueux has been awarded a Fulbright to go to Hong Kong next year to help the City University of Hong Kong design and implement its new General Education curriculum. This is obviously very timely for Columbia’s recruitment efforts in China. Rob expects to promulgate what we do at Columbia to a large and varied international audience and form important connections with universities in Hong Kong. He will also gain valuable experience designing and implementing faculty development programs that will contribute to our ongoing efforts with institutions around China.
Sandra Allen will be a visiting lecturer at Tongji University in Shanghai, further solidifying Columbia’s relationship with this highly prestigious institution.
Columbia is grateful to Rob and Sandra for their efforts to forge and strengthen partnerships in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
