At Columbia College, life after class is an extension of the classroom. Encourage your student to plug into the electricity of student life. The Student Engagement Office helps students develop leadership and professional skills in a variety of social, political, cultural, and athletic arenas. [C]Spaces, College Wide Events, and our student media outlets provide opportunities for your students to perform and exhibit, develop confidence and learn to take risks. The more than 800 Events on campus each academic year expose students to all forms of creative expression to open eyes to new worlds, ideas and possibilities. The Multicultural Affairs Office is central to our ability to produce high caliber, versatile artists and communicators of all races, cultures, and ethnicities and prepares students to effectively integrate themselves in a global society, and function collaboratively with others.
