Former Resident Artist of Columbia College Chicago Wins MacArthur Genius Grant

Claire Chase, founder and artistic director of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), which was in residence at Columbia College Chicago for four years and occasionally plays at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, recently won a MacArthur Genius Grant.

MacArthur Genius Grant recipients get $500,000 to spend however they see fit. Claire and her organization are featured in the Chicagoist and the Chicago Journal.
