Advertising Faculty Awarded Golden Trumpet for Excellence in Marketing & Branding
Larry Minsky, Associate Professor of Advertising, and his team from I Imagine marketing and branding agency won a 2014 Golden Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago, the nation's largest independent public relations membership organization. The honor was announced on June 4 at the Publicity Club of Chicago's 55th Annual Golden Trumpet Awards at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel, where over 500 attendees joined in celebrating the most creative and successful public relations campaigns of the past year. Larry and his I Imagine team were awarded a Golden Trumpet for Marketing and Branding as a result of their successful effort to turn a long-standing radio program, WFMT Exploring Music, into an interactive online experience, strengthening and growing the listenership and audience engagement. Larry personally oversaw the development of the award-winning brand foundational elements, including the brand essence, positioning statement, verbal and visual personalities, and colors.
