MCD Student Elected to Serve on PRSSA National Committee
Sophomore Marketing Communication Department student David Lee Watta was elected to serve as the next vice president of Regional Conferences, on the National Committee of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
Watta will continue his role as Chapter president for Columbia PRSSA until he assumes leadership of the role of vice president of Regional Conferences June 1, 2014. From this day forward, Watta will be responsible for coordinating and supporting Regional Conferences and cross-Chapter interaction for the entire society, comprised of over 11,500 members nation-wide.
Columbia PRSSA has worked very hard to remain active on a national level, successfully bidding and hosting their own Regional Conference, The Loop a 360 Approach to Public Relations in Chicago, with great success. With Columbia College Chicago on the national stage, colleges from across the nation have the opportunity to experience the creative difference that is Columbia College Chicago.
