ARTS & CRAFTS Goes Viral
During the Fall 2013 semester, a group of CA+S students collaborated on Arts & Crafts, a comedic web series that follows a student who
transfers into an art school.
The pilot episode premiered on YouTube in August 2013 and has been viewed almost 15,000 times. Series creator, actress, and director Ali Hadley ('15) shared, "it’s a comedic web series developed in hopes of creating an independent project for student collaboration... What better way than to poke fun of the very environment we chose to be a part of?”
The first season will be released one episode per week on Vimeo and the series' YouTube channel, beginning March 16. Hadley and her team have high expectations with story lines already being developed for season two. The team plans to start writing again during the spring and resume shooting the series during the summer 2014.
Reflecting on season one, Hadley says, "I feel everyone involved grew as an artist and we are really excited to show the work and continue on with the series."
