Student Film Festival Honors Moving Image Production

Eleven finalist films made in Foundations classes screened before a full house at the 24th semi-annual Take 1 Student Film Festival followed by a presentation of Jury and Audience awards on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.

Pacto Con El Diablo by Taylor Sitton won both the Jury and Audience awards in the Moving Image Production I category.

Tribesman by Thomas Caleb won the Jury award in the Moving Image Production II Fiction category. Additionally, Caleb along with Jack Dunphy won Jury and Audience awards in the Documentary category for My Boys.

Caryn Lawson won the Audience Award for The Fort in the Fiction category of Moving Image Production II.

The finalist films went through a rigorous jury process and were selected from over 40 best of class films. The scores are based on creativity of idea, content, and execution of concept.
