Rick O'Dell from Smoothjazzchicago.net Visits Introduction to Radio Course

The Radio Department is pleased to welcome Rick O'Dell, Operations Manager, Midday Host and Sunday Brunch Host at Smoothjazzchicago.net, as guest speaker in the Introduction to Radio class on Thursday, February 14, 2013.

Rick launched the Smooth Jazz format in Chicago in 1987 WCRL,101.9 FM. He spent 1989 through 2009 at WNUA, 95.5 FM in various capacities: Midday Host, Music Director and Program Director. Additionally, he was Operations Manager, Midday Host and Sunday Brunch Host at WLFM, 87.7 FM from 2009-2012.

Rick will be discussing his career, his current position, and will set aside time to answer questions from students.
