Studs Terkel Scholarship Deadline February 8, 2013

Registered Columbia graduates or undergraduates students can apply to receive the $2,000 Terkel Scholarship presented by Community Media Workshop.

Studs Terkel was an author, historian, actor,  and radio broadcast personality. The Studs Terkel Program, aired on WFMT, 98.7 FM from 1952-1997. A student with the best completed or on-going grassroots class project that highlights the extraordinary in ordinary people will be awarded the prize.
