Good Luck Pronouncing UUVVWWZ

F&V senior Harrison Martin co-directed, shot and edited the music video Open Sign with the band UUVVWWZ.

Martin has admired UUVVWWZ's music since the band started and wanted to collaborate with friend and lead singer Teal Gardner who was also the co-director. "We conceptualized over the phone and made plans to shoot. Gardner sent me the album online to pick out a song for a music video and I gravitated towards Open Sign" shares Martin.

"We wanted to create a space that would feel full of positive physical energy, a space that would let our characters express wild spontaneous action" recounts Martin. The crew lucked out when a leaky hosing system created a mud pit. Twenty brave souls come out in Omaha's humid summer heat to bathe in the mud for the shoot.
