Ray Flores to Appear on ESPN's Friday Night Fights

Ray Flores (B.A. '09) of ESPN Chicago will be receiving national exposure handling ring announcing duties on Friday, January 25, 2013 for ESPN 2's "Friday Night Fights."

Ray can be heard doing sports updates nightly on "Chicago's Gamenight," on ESPN, AM 1000. He has also made a name for himself as a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) play-by-play broadcaster and cage announcer around Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Ray had this to say about the gig: "It's going to be a pleasure to work with Banner Promotions and the entire ESPN FNF crew, including play-by-play announcer Joe Tessitore and legendary boxing analyst and trainer Teddy Atlas. I am thankful for the opportunity and look forward to the event."
