Best Short Film 2012

F&V MFA Candidate J. Paul Preseault’s thesis film Birth of a White Boy Best of and Audience Choice in recent film festivals.

Birth of a White Boy recently won Audience Choice Award at the Seattle Shorts Film Festival. It was one of 25 short films selected from over 1000 submissions.

The film also won Audience Award and Best Short Film at the 2012 BolderLife Film Festival and was nominated for five Maverick Movie Awards (Best Student Film, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor), winning Best Student Film.
