The International Museum of Surgical Science (IMSS) presents the latest installment of its "Anatomy in the Gallery" series exploring the intersection of medicine and contemporary art: NEW KINGDOMS, an exhibition of photography by Alison Carey, and EXPULSION, works on paper by Michael Reedy. Together, Reedy’s fantastical renderings of humanity's mythical genesis and subsequent fall through original sin and Carey's sci-fi visions of our species' extinction as a result of interfering with Darwinian evolution dramatize the paradoxical nature of the human condition.
