Writer Zach Dean's (BA '01) screenplay titled Blackbird written in Screenwriting II has been made into the crime drama Deadfall directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky starring Eric Bana, Olivia Wilde, Charlie Hunnam, Sissy Spacek, and Kris Kristofferson. Salon's Pick of the Week: Deadfall is a sexy, snowbound rural noir In 2003, Dean's Strangers in the Snow won 1st place in the Alumni Feature Script category of Written Image. Deadfall is now in Theatres and On Demand.
