CEREMONIES IN DARK OLD MEN

F&V faculty member Vaun Monroe directed Ceremonies in Dark Old Man running through December 23, shares his expertise on writing complex scenes, and, recently, taught a feature film seminar in the British Virgin Islands.

Monroe directed a production of The Negro Ensemble Company's seminal play Ceremonies in Dark Old Men currently at eta Creative Arts until December 23, 2012. This year is the season of the director, where every director of historical record was asked to submit a proposal of the play they most wanted to direct, the top selections comprise the season.

On Sunday, December 2, Monroe is the featured speaker for the Chicago Screenwriting Networks Sunday series: Writing Complex Scenes for Character Centered Film, 6-9 pm at Pork Chop, 941 W. Randolph.

At the request of the British Virgin Island Film Commission, Monroe recently taught a feature film seminar in the British Virgin Islands.
