LA Collective Collaborate on BABY PLEASE

Director Eric McCoy (BA '09) has reunited with a team of over two dozen CCC Alums in Los Angeles to deliver the music video debut single Baby Please for the larger-than-life duo, Fellow Rebel.

View the music video produced by Justus Meyer (‘12), shot by George Nienhuis (BA ‘10), edited by Alex G. Jones (BA ‘10), and colored by Ryan McNeal (BA ‘12). In the first week, Baby Please was viewed in fifty-four countries and was tweeted by Grammy-nominated artist Janelle Monaé on the first day of its release.

Beyond the music video world, McCoy and Meyer have applied their Practicum training to foster award-winning commercials for companies that have included Black & Decker, Bolla Wine, and the human resources giant, ADP. While the group is in Post on a campaign for 7-Up TEN, they have their sights set on developing a feature film for 2013.

"It's great to be reunited with filmmakers of the same caliber of training," McCoy notes. "It means we can land in any city in the world and not skip a beat." McCoy has also teamed up with cinematography alums Stephen Paar (BA '09) and Wojciech Kielar (BA '08) and production designers Courtney Johnson (BA '12) and Nia Freshman (BA '10).
