WCRX-FM Students Among Finalists for 2012 Silver Dome Awards

WCRX-FM has been nominated for three 2012 Student Silver Dome Awards by the Illinois Broadcasters Association.

George Cotsirilos is nominated for Best Radio Air-Check, Marco Scola was nominated for Best News Story for his piece on the Occupy Chicago Movement and Ruby Pinto was acknowledged for Best Long-Form Program for her story of the up and coming band, Sidewalk Chalk.

Winners will be announced on Friday, September 21, 2012 at a ceremony on the campus of Illinois State University.
