“What started as an opportunity to get our students together to form a community of filmmakers, has grown into something we could never have imagined,” states Eileen Long, Coordinator of Big Screen. “I am constantly in awe of their talents, and I’m so pleased that the department supports this annual event. It’s a great time for everyone involved.”

The Big Screen has become a calling card for the department, promoting both students and the program alike. Winning Big Screen films have gone on to screenings in Los Angeles for alumni in the industry, as well as the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
