WCRX-FM Makes the Grade

Columbia College Chicago's student-run radio station, WCRX-FM, was featured in the Washington Post article "10 Great College Radio Stations".  Marking College Radio Day, a nationwide celebration of the importance of college radio, the Washington Post found 10 stations still have an environment where students can learn. 

Students at WCRX-FM are Radio and Broadcast Journalism Majors are required to spend at least one semester at the station to develop their skills.  "This acknowledgment shows the hard work and many talents of our students", says Cheryl Langston, station manager.  "We are so Proud of them."
