2011 Emmy Nominations

Tuesday, September 27, 2011 marked the 53rd Chicago/Midwest Emmy Nomination Party which was held at Rockit Bar and Grill.  As the crowds started filling the venue, it was obvious that nerves were high and there was much talk about who the nominations would be going to but the overall vibe was excitement.  Well the votes were tabulated and they are now in...... we would like to give a big congratulations to the following student shows Freq Out and I Love the 90's- Behind the Show.  Also to our faculty nominees; Wojciech Lorenc (two nominations in two different categories), Jim White, Fred Weintraub, and of course we can't forget to congratulate out alumni nominees; Annie Servedio Esp (two nominations in two different categories) and Samantha Zackowitz, both work for WLS (ABC 7).  We couldn't be more proud and will be cheering you all on the whole way!! The winners will be announced on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the 53rd Emmy Awards Celebrations.  We're counting down the days.
