Department Students Design Chosen for Hearts a Bluhm

A design created by student workers in the Marketing Communication office has been chosen to be produced and displayed as part of the Hearts a Bluhm project.  Students Michael Balzo, Lindsay Horwood, Liz Kulevich, Jeffrey Lewis, Dan O'Halloran, and DeShara Suggs-Joe created the design based on the first hand account of Marketing Communication student Bill Coons' experience with heart transplant surgery.  Coons' story is told in his book "Swim" and chronicles his experience of the procedure.

Hearts a Bluhm is a collaborative effort between Columbia College Chicago and Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute, focusing on consumer education and awareness of heart health.  The campaign will take place along Michigan Avenue starting February 1st.
