The Television Department of Columbia College is pleased to invite you to a LIVE taping of our original sitcom, Debbie’s Got Class. Be part of a live studio audience taping of an episode written and produced by our very own students, at our brand new Media Production Center!
Debbie’s Got Class is set in the 1950s, viewed from a modern-day viewpoint. Because of this coming together of different generations of television history, we are honored that Carl Reiner, a distinguished actor, writer, producer, and director in film and television, will be speaking before the studio taping. Some of Mr. Reiner’s career highlights include performing on Your Show of Shows, creating The Dick Van Dyke Show, directing The Jerk, and playing a con man in the remake of Ocean’s Eleven and its sequels. Mr. Reiner brings a unique perspective to this production and we are thrilled to have him supporting this student project!
Pre-show festivities begin at 6:00pm; program begins at 7pm.
DOORS WILL CLOSE AT 7PM TO ENSURE THAT TAPING IS UNINTERRUPTED
