The Board of Trustees approved Dr. Kwang-Wu Kim as president-elect of Columbia College Chicago. The presidential search was led by Chairman of the Board Allen M. Turner and Richard P. Kiphart, chairman of the Presidential Selection Advisory Panel. This 22-member panel included trustees, faculty, staff, and alumni who served as the representative voice of the college throughout the selection process.
A native Chicagoan, Dr. Kim joins Columbia College as the former dean and director of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University.
