Announcing a continued opportunity for teaching artists in Chicago:
The Teaching Artist Development (TAD) Studio
The Teaching Artist Development (TAD) Studio offers professional development for teaching artists who want to work in Chicago Public Schools during and after school. One cohort of TAD Studio Fellows will be selected this year to participate in 40+ hours of hands-on training and networking. The Studio will focus on curriculum design, reflective practice, peer review, and collaboration. Faculty will be drawn from leaders in Chicago’s arts education community. Participants will receive stipends upon completion.
The TAD Studio program will take place from February–May, 2013.
Teaching artists applying for this year’s cohort should have 0‐5 years of experience.
Applications for this cohort will be available at colum.edu/tadstudio and are due December 15, 2012.
For more information, contact tadstudio@colum.edu or visit colum.edu/tadstudio.
The Teaching Artist Development Studio is supported in part by the JPMorgan Chase Foundation.
